THE CHURCH OF KORIHOR

The spiritual community for godless people.

We transform painful lives into lives worth living.

By the Light of Reason, we are all Korihor.

Who is Korihor?

Korihor is a legendary atheist from The Book of Mormon who was cursed with muteness by an evil Christian sorcerer named Alma.

Alma's vicious God wanted Korihor silenced for teaching critical thinking.

Stripped of his voice, Korihor was forced to rely on the compassion of his Christian neighbors in order to eat. But their pious greed left him to starve.

When he was found trampled to death, his demise was hailed as a great victory for Alma and his God.

But there are no gods. Korihor was right.

We each emulate Korihor's legacy when we find the courage to rise up against charlatans and to stand for compassion, and truth. Korihor is the Martyr of Reason. His voice is your voice and our voice.

We are all Korihor.
