A higher calling awaits you as a Luminary of Reason.

Luminaries are ordained missionaries of The Church of Korihor.

Our missionaries are not proselytizers. When you walk the Luminary Path, you connect with a sacred mission to serve others by officiating godless sacraments and by volunteering with our Missions of Reason.

Luminaries are ordained by Heralds, our Ecclesiastical clergy, but unlike Heralds, Luminaries do not need to first join the Church by taking the Oath of Reason ("Fellowship").

Of course, Luminaries are welcome and encouraged to join the Fellowship.

Luminaries can serve in various Missions of Reason

We transform painful lives into lives worth living through our Missions of Reason.

Missions of Shelter

Korihors care about the housing crisis.

Missions of Patronage

What is the Sistene Chapel of Blasphemy?

Missions of Enlightenment

Empower people with skills and knowledge.

Missions of Heart

To heal others is to heal oneself.

Compensation for Luminaries varies

While Luminaries are unpaid volunteers, they may be compensated with donations and fees from donors. This may include reimbursements from the Church, fees for officiating Weddings and other sacraments, bonuses, or living stipends.

Each mission is different, so applicants should take time to learn about our Missions of Reason.
